For artist Craig Reynolds, a connection between family and art has been a lifelong recurring theme, and a legacy he hopes to continue. Craig grew up in Gadsden, Alabama and comes from a long line of artists. Craig’s father is the late Leo Reynolds, a successful Watercolorist in the southeast. Craig considers his father “one of the most inspiring people he has ever known.” As a very young child Craig remembers seeing a black and white bird dog scene that Leo painted on a window shade using house paint. This intrigued him, and he continued to watch his father using various mediums to make paintings come to life. Soon, Craig was breathing life into the canvas himself.  Craig began painting professionally in 1984 and has won numerous awards throughout the southeast.
