Getting to Know God is a montage of
inspired verse, biblical quotes and art by an accomplished
artist and writer from Charleston, SC.
As an artist, she portrays images
that "warm the heart and stir the soul". Each painting is
meant to "lift the spirit and transport the viewer into a
tranquil place away from everyday cares." Likewise, her
personal meditations and prayers are meant to give comfort
in a changing world and to give glory to God.
In the sense that these were never
written with the intention to publish them, this collection
becomes a ministry of faith that the author felt compelled
to share. The paintings include low country landscapes,
wildlife and florals.
