        Award winning artist, Sandra Baggette has exhibited her work in over 100 juried shows throughout the United States. In 2008, two of her paintings received awards at the 478 annual Beaufort art Associations' Spring Festival. She has also won the Award of Merit at the Piccolo Spoleto Arts Festival in Charleston. Her work has been featured in the Arts in Embassies program in Belgium and Honduras. She was also chosen to created the first limited edition poster for Main St. USA, Beaufort, South Carolina’s new festival “Light up the Night 2002. Sandra was the featured artist in South Carolina Magazine in March of 2003 and her work was included in a book by Carole Weatherford. One of her paintings was also selected for the 24th Annual Nations Bank Exhibit at Sumter Museum for their travelling show.

       Sandra is a member of numerous organizations including Oil Painters of America, the South Carolina Watercolor Society, the Potomac Valley Watercolorists, Low Country Plein Aire Painters and is a founding member of the Art Council of Beaufort.

       Sandra’s paintings are inspired by her love of gardening and the abundance of flowers in the low country. She draws her influence from the Impressionists of the 20th century and has studied with Ovanes Berberian, master colorist and Russian impressionist. Her travels abroad to Bermuda , Hawaii, Italy and France (where she painted in Monet’s garden) have also influenced her work

       A native of Albany, Georgia, Sandra currently lives in Port Royal with her husband.
